Daniel Erickson, Chief Designer of Star Wars: The Old Republic authorized by Lucas and produced by Bioware, said that SWTOR won’t launch mainframe version in an interview with the press.  He said, many of our games have the mainframe version. When we would like to produce a RPG, the mainframe platform is a good choice, even better than that of PC. But SWTOR is different. SWTOR’s mainframe look shabby. We hope players can enjoy the best game. So far, we haven’t a discussion about the development of SWTOR’s mainframe version.
